SINGER/WRITER OF SONGS TO THINK-ALONG-TO?

About Me

"Scotty has widespread appeal to anyone who's ever attempted to find clarity in themselves, in others, in the shelves of the supermarket, or even the lady at the checkout. In a survey of people with broken hearts and troubled minds, eighty percent admitted to feeling better after listening to Scotty singing about being miserable, hopeless and feeling tiny.. Despite her often self-deprecating themes, Scotty's songs are uplifting, soulful, even funny. Her cracking riffs, brutally honest lyrics, and wry melodies carry all the strength of triumph over adversity." -J Jay.
Read a recent review of Scotty's gig at Pembroke Acoustic Music club here ! The important bit is below.....
"First up was solo singer songwriter Scotty (pictured, formerly a regular at Cromwell..s Tavern) who set the standards for the evening with her haunting, witty and introspective songs. Its not often you get haunting and witty! A beautiful warm and engaging performer, she was my favourite of the night."

Sounds Like: Would like to say 'Roll all the above into a musical ball and out pops a Scotty song', but that makes it sound like poo so.. will say my voice is.. well, you tell me.. and my lyrics are audible i.e. I try not to slurmywaythroughthesongsleavingeveryonewonderingwhatthehellI mgoingonabout. Lotta folk think 'one woman with acoustic guitar = baaahoring. Throw tomatoes at me if it ever gets like that! I spill my guts with the songs and then sweep up inbetween with a bit of - how do you say - witty banter!
