Andrew Villegas (Aka) AndyVica, May 23th 1975, Los Angeles (CA), since 2000 Andrew resides in NYC (born in California, he grew up in Manizales, Colombia).
Music has always been Andrew's first love. However, his real evolution in to a known NYC DJ began in the early 90's with his entry in to college in Colombia. It was then that he began organizing parties at various venues in the capitol some of which included famous 'The Galpon' theater.In year 2000 he graduated from college with a diploma of a Visual Designer. Only 3 weeks later he was on a plane flying to New York anxious, but ready to present this magnificent city with his mixing skills. Soon he got involved with the NYC house music wave.
Ever since he's been not only playing his music at various bars and private events, but also clubbing himself checking out the biggest DJs that NYC hosts so frequently.Constant growth and a deep desire to master his skills led Andy to undertaking classes at Scratch DJ Academy in NYC. That was in 2003. In 2005 he accomplished Electronic Music Production course at SAE Institute at NYC.AndyVica is known for throwing awesome, unforgettable house parties. Some of the DJs Andy has shared a booth include DJ Harry Duran (NYC), DJ Anthony (Italy), DJ Sir Ivan Dias (NJ), DJ Pana Jay (NYC), Dechno (Colombia), Leo Garcia (Venezuela).
