Just continuing the music journey of my life…. but I guess my most important work has been done in the last 10 years while in the UK.At the moment, I’m living in beautiful Byron Bay, Australia but am visiting London regularly as I really regard that city as my home. When I moved there in 1996 I formed my own band, Vida Nova, and we performed regularly at venues such as the 100 Club in Oxford Street, 606 Club in Fulham and various festivals.We also recorded and produced four albums which included some of my original compositions. Distribution agreements resulted in worldwide sales of these albums as well as licensing to Union Square Music, DJ Snowboy Presents the Return of the Hi-Hat which sold over 20,000 copies since its release.From 2000 to 2005 I worked in the Drum & Bass arena with DJ Manifest (check him out now for the great stuff he’s doing) on the “Deception” record label. In that time we had tracks being included on Ray Keith’s label “Dread” and the Hard Leader’s “Go Global” album which made No. 2 on Drum & Bass chartsAs well as writing, performing and recording, I also play piano and have set up a small music school in Byron teaching these – www.music-made-easy.com
