I am from a small town in Virginia and traveled to Connecticut to study at Yale. My interests are mostly in the areas of music, visual arts, and worship. I am fascinated every single day by the greatness of God in other people, and really, really concerned about issues like HIV/AIDS in the black community. I founded Sing For Change in 2006 as a way for Christian musicians to respond positively to the AIDS crisis in CT (and it is a crisis). I was initiated into Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. in 2001 at Howard University.I am painfully shy at times, but very passionate about people and things I care about.
