About Me

"Merrell works out polyrhythms like astrophysics equations."
-- Denver's Westword --
Please ask me to play for your band, or on something you're recording.
19 years of drumming. Where there are no drums: those are generally unadulterated sounds; captured spontaneously and processed minimally. No overthought. No expectations. No end. Not unlike the way paper briefly tries to unfold itself -- as if stretching to find some remaining scrap of comfort -- after it's been crumpled; a seemingly futile rebound after debilitating alterations.
Recent credits include:
* Ian Cooke : The Fall I Fell - alpha and omega drums (Music + Rot)
* ::tintin:: (tba) - all drumming
* Possible Selves : [s/t] - takers and condemned drumming
* Cohen Burns (tba) - all drumming
