Days End With Sunrise

About Me

In March 2007, Days End With Sunrise was forged from the remnants of several local Malaysian bands. The idea of starting the band sparked off when four hardcore kids - Faliq, Haris, Akmal and Firdaus hang out at a 'mamak stall' in May 2006 and feel bored of their chores. After many jam sessions without its vocalist, Thanesh was the last and the youngest member to join the unit in February 2007. On September 07, he left the band and was replaced by Loloq..With the lineups from various musical interest, the band tries to mix elements of heavy metal and hardcore punk together to their music. Defining the metalcore sound is not an easy task, as many bands in KL have fused a hardcore-influenced sound and attitude with many different types of metal.Although there was no release yet, word about the band spread rampantly gaining an extremely loyal following throughout Kuala Lumpur. Each traded in their jobs and time with their girlfriends for a life in a car, in order to focus on spending as much time in studios as possible.
