About Me

Hey Everybody!!! I'm Kirsten. I'm from Boulder, but i'm not the typical boulderite. Ok, so I do excersize, eat healthy and i'm very democratic, but unlike others, I do know a life outside of boulder! :) I work in Steamboat Springs all year round. During the winter i'm a ski instructor, and in the summers I landscape! They're both pretty kick ass jobs, and I love the people i work with! I used to play soccer, I was going to be a four-year varsity letterer, but I had to have wrist surgery earlier this spring... and I'm a keeper! So that kinda sucked, but hey, It allowed me to ski more, so that's exciting. I play the piano in my spare time, and I love listening to music. I don't really smoke or drink. I like myself better when i'm sober, but there are those special occasions ;) I guess apart from Boulder and Steamboat, Paraguay might be considered another rather large part of my life. For the last few summers, I traveled down to Paraguay. The first time I went, I went with AMIGOS, and lived with a host family for the summer. That was a blast. I learned so much, and had so much fun. Last summer I went down just to travel. I got lost on buses quite a bit, but it was worth the experience, i'd do it again in a heart beat. I actually plan to. When I graduate college, I want to take a trip of a lifetime around the world. I want to go everywhere. I just need somebody to come with! I do have this one boy who is constantly sweeping me off my feet. :) He is so sweet and caring, and I love him so much! Chris, you make my day everytime we're together! Well that's pretty much me in a couple paragraphs. Next year i'll be attending CU, and hopefully skiing just as much! But until then...

My Interests

SPORTS: if you know me, you know i'll try any sport, but my favorates are Soccer, Roller Hockey, Basketball, Skiing, Snowboarding and Penning . TRAVELING: I love traveling to South and Central America, i haven't found anything exciting about europe so far... but i'm still looking. I'd love to travel to Japan, Korea, Vietnam, or anywhere in Africa. MOUNTAINS: snow is my friend. i love being in the mountains. skiing is probably my biggest interest/passion, it would be hard for me to leave the mountains one day. and i love horseback riding in the summer. I'd like to meet:

Lots of cool exciting new friends

Music:

I play the piano, and i'm learning more and more about the guitar. I'll listen to anything but techno. most of my friends would say that i love country, which is true... but i listen to everything

Movies:

scary ones are fun with boys present. chic flics if i'm in the mood. (although i'll watch Sweet Home Alabama any day) Movies with lots of guns don't excite me. but i'm pretty easy to please.

Television:

I would have to say that most TV is a waste of time. but you'll catch me watching movies and sports games. I find that there's not much point in watching the news these days... it's like taking a depresant

Books:

i'm not a huge reader. but i have been known to enjoy a good book. If you want to read a book that will enlighten you, i'd suggest... Wherever You Go, There You Are... and the book i think i enjoyed the most was... The Tomb of the Inflatable Pig. .. -- -- -- -- -- -- Copied from MySpace.com -- Find me on MySpace and be my friend!

Heroes:

i dont have a hero, but people who dream of making a small difference inspire me
