people who keep themself in check often enough to know when it's time to lose control, old friends and new friends, anyone who is actually listening instead of just waiting for their turn to speak, saints, soldiers, sinners, scholars, people who love words and know how important they are, people who know that love and madness are more important than death and taxes, people who like the same music i do and want to tell me what their favorite part of a song is, ditto movies, ditto books, people who have the opposite opinion i do and want to compare notes, people who are full of intensity, but know how to focus it.
