Casey Nova

I was born in the Philippines and raised in the States. My mom is 1/2 Irish 1/2 Filipino and my pops is pure Pinoy. I come from an amazing family with an unbelievable story -- both on my mom and my dad's side. I’d tell you more about it now, but I need to save some stories for later. ;-) I’ve traveled Asia/Pacific, N. America, and peeped out France and Spain on my last trip with the fams. I love to travel and I love experiencing different cultures. I adapt well to new surroundings as I vary between the sides of a spectrum. I can talk story with the homeless and can converse with the intellects. I'm down to eat street food (push carts, corner stalls, hole in the walls, etc.) while I enjoy fine dining. I'm a t-shirt, board shorts/jeans and slippers kind of guy but I do love to dress up in my designer $h!t as well. I am fun and easy-going but I can be the biggest prick if I want to be. I am often quite serious yet I like to clown around. The main reason why I can vary between both sides of the spectrum is because I have been there and done that -- all of the good, the bad, and the ugly. I know a lot of people but can count my true peeps on my fingers/toes. I'm very close to my family and our Filipino culture. I am a mama's boy and forever will be (RIP mama, Nov. 29, 2007). I am lover and a dreamer -- very passionate about the things I love to do. I love to cook, eat, and entertain my loved ones. I also love to train like a beast and party like an animal. I enjoy loosing my self in the moment, whether it be lost in the flow of a human chess match (MMA) or lost in the high of the pinoy special amats (halo halo) but most especially loosing myself in the eyes/arms of that special someone. I graduated from San Jose State University, with a B.S. in Hospitality Management. Why did I choose hospitality? Because I am a people pleaser as I enjoy making people happy -- I am happy when you are happy. Plus it’s a fun, fast-paced, dynamic environment. When I first started college, I didn’t know I would end up studying hospitality -- it just kind of fell into my lap, as I was figuring out what best matched my personality. I have begun a new stage in my career at one of the world's best golf resorts, Pebble Beach. I am in the process of learning how to run a resort because I have a master plan geared towards owning my own small-scale resort on the beach…where? Only time will tell. So, what else? Ask me.
