I grew up around music where my Dad and Brother were both in sounds, I started messing around with music in early 1994 and that's when i got my first set of Decks.A couple of guys from school and I set up a 'sound' called Thunderforce and we played Swing, Soul, Ragga and Jungle. We played at loads of house parties and venues - alongside the Heartless Crew on many occasions.In 1995 I got a chance to MC with DJ Fax on Rude FM (104.3) and that was alongside the MC's Ranking and Spee.In that year I got a chance to work in Kid Andy's studio where I got to make my first Drum and Bass track that was released on the "Upfront Records" label.In 1997 Lady Legs introduced me to the new sound that was around, called 'Garage'. Freek was the main station that I listened to and of course I would always lock into the shows of Maddness and EZ.I was lucky that a mate of mine asked me to MC for him on his show on Mission FM....that is the great DJ Colin I. We built up a good show and fan base and alongside the Lady Legs we became the "Fantastic Three".I joined Vocal Fusion where I got advice from the MC Creed and he put me in touch with PSG who introduced me to Eli.From that point in my life things moved very quickly up the ladder....Eli and I made our first track "Pump", which got signed to an underground record label. After that we did "It's not right" using the Whitney Houston vocals, which got playlisted on Kiss FM.All of this led us to quite a bit of remix work....In 2001 Eli and I were very lucky to work with Colour Girl to make a track called "Mas Que Nada", which entered the National Top 40 music chart.We also released a mixed CD called "Garage Anthems Summer 2K". Then we collaborated with JJ Lewis who owns Southside Records to make the "Storm on the Southside" CD.Eli and i then started the "Marvelis" Recordings record label which has had 7 releases on it and I currently run.For the latter part of my career I have DJ-ed on various underground stations, so catch me on Subjam (104.7), 6-8 on Sundays!Marvel
