THE 700 MACHINES - BIOGRAPHY
Formed in 1999, their sound is an explosive Rock 'N' Roll cocktail combining revolutionary Detroit Proto-Punk, Motown Soul, Aussie Punk, 60's Garage Punk, psychedelic and 70's Hard Rock.
In 2000 they recorded their first demo. In 2001 their second demo "Turn On... The 700 Machines" produced by Jim Spliff (Nightstalker, The Earthbound, Rockin Bones) was out. In 2002 they finished the recording of their 3rd demo. After that many changes in the line-up followed and they have plans to record a complete album in 2007.
The 700 Machines have played many gigs with fellow greek bands and they had the honour to be supporting acts for DEAD MOON, MC5, HAWKWIND, JOHN SPENCER BLUES EXPLOSION, NASHVILLE PUSSY, MISFITS, BACKYARD BABIES and many other.
The current line-up is:
