A tall dark stranger who opens a portal into another world and takes me astride giant wolves to drive perilously into woodland deep and dark. TO emerge a great plain to look on the horizon a great keep, to gaze on my future in this other world, of old codes, treachery and magic. This world that finally gives my heart hope, of what I could do of what I will do with this stranger. Pick up this blade, this sword forged over and over the metal harder then diamond, true Valerian steel! With this sword I carve my future, one that I will never have here... I'd like to meet my parellal self and kill her out of spite that she could have everything I ever dreamt of every time she opened her eyes to start her day! That's who I'd like to meet..

Every page is a tragedy as kings pop out of every part of Westeros, I hope in the end Starks enemys meet the ones they have slain in the direwolves, remaining spirits in those skins, angry and blood thirsty animals.

"Once, in my father's bookshop, I heard a regular customer say that few things leave a deeper mark on a reader than the first book that finds its way into his heart. Those first images, the echo of those words we think we have left behind, accompany us throughout our lives and sculpt a palace in our memory to which, sooner or later—no matter how many books we read, how many worlds we discover or how much we learn or forget—we will return. For me, those enchanted pages will always be the ones I found among the passageways of the Cemetery of Forgotten Books." -excerpt from book
This is one of the most amazing books I've ever read. It was writen for book lovers by someone who in there life must of been most graciously touched by thier mysterys. Foggy rain on cobblstone streets, musky book sections in old librarys... falling in love for no more reason then a touch and a look in anothers eyes and running for your life from a something you don't understand, guarding a secret silly and old as time, old as mans first text. I emplore you to read this book because thats how it made me feel!
