After years of serving as a ranking officer as lead guitarist for alt-rockers Jagged Black Desire Bryen Shi has stepped out on his own with just an acoustic guitar.
Other bands and artists have released songs or even whole albums performed acoustically - but with the same method: slowwer, calm, balladesque songs. Case and Point: City and Colour, Secondhand Serenade. (note from Bryen: do not confuse this as me not liking those artists, I love both Secondhand Serenade and City and Colour)
Even with only an undistorted guitar and his voice, let it be known: Bryen Shi rocks, and he isnt afraid to let the world know it.
