About Me

Admins are: Baby Chelle and Bobby. Running RNS Myspace is: Raven Crow aka knightcrowwatching
It is our hope that Red Nation Society became a welcoming home for those who were like us. We are federally recognized Indians but do not reside on a reservation. We know there are many who are like us. Those of us who are caught between two governments, in limbo.
We are natives, yet we are American citizens. We get looked at when we are on the streets, and we get looked at when we are on the Rez. We had envisioned RNS to be the bridge of the two. We have had our ups, downs, ins and outs as to what RNS is to be.
RNS means a lot of things to a lot of different people. One thing we are not is prejudice towards none federally or state recognized people. We do what we know to be right to others and ourselves. We have learned that there are challenges juggling the battles between tradition and modern ways and the right way and the wrong way.
From our point of view, there is no harm in just simply being ourselves. We do not wish to have to divide the two, but instead, to embrace the difference. We are just simple, everyday American Indians who just want to have a good time online and to learn about everyone and share our knowledge on it all. We ask that you do the same.
LET’S STOP TRIBAL DISENROLLMENT PROTECT OUR TRIBAL FUTURE!
We are a privately owned website and a private society made up of people who are concerned about what's going on in their Native Country. Urban and Reservation residences are welcomed. Red Nation Society is focused on getting the Indian Community together and involved in the real issues that face our tribes/clans daily. Red Nation Society is not intended to be a religious site. It is culture based. Those who want to make an impact and be of service to Native Issues are encouraged to join us.
Our desire for other issues pertaining to Indian life issues are:
1) Educating the people about what may be available in their areas.
2) Educating spouses to Native Americans and their rights.
3) Banding together to better the native community on a cultural bases and on a political issues.
RNS is NOT about who is more Indian than the next guy... it is about sharing our resources and getting to know more folks in the native communities on a more personal level and working together to build up one tribe to the next!
