About Me

Keith Moore started banging on his fathers old Ludwig drum set when he was fourteen years old, the beginning of a lifelong obsession with all things music related. An in demand drummer by his late teens, Keith played for a series of successful bands, had the chance to tour the world playing music, and was even featured on national television. Always eager to push himself, Keith taught himself to play the guitar and started heading in a more singer-songwriter direction, which only broadened his understanding of music.

After a long European tour, Keith decided to buckle down and attend the Audio Recording Technology Institute . He thrived in the recording environment, finding he had a gift for helping other musicians find and record their sound. Immediately after graduation Keith put all of his resources into opening his own studio, what was to become Sick Studios in Patchogue, Long Island. Many great bands have passed through Sick Studios , and they all seem to return. Music is Keiths life passion, and bands come out of the studio with not only a great recording, but a great experience, and great memories as well.
After operating Sick Studios for seven years, recording bands such as Earthling Massive, The Future Engine, Magnetic North, and Playing Dead to name only a few, Keith is again ready to push ahead. Searching for more creative opportunity, Keith has started recording in larger facilities in both Manhattan and Brooklyn. Bands in NYC are now finding what Long Island bands have known for years; if you are searching for a passionate, educated, experienced engineer/producer who you can trust to deliver your vision; Keith Moore is the guy to go to.
