About Me
A work in progress since 2000, Earthling Massive have opened
the door to new beginnings.
For the casual listener lyrics are the road to context and
significance in a song. Earthling Massive vocals are held down by the twin
effort of George Reynolds and Tracy Jorg.
Like the deity with two faces, Janus, Reynolds and Jorg are a
>synthesis of opposable energies. Earthling Massive is a novel undertaking for both, but as label mates at TVT records, touring and recording with respective bands
A Day In The Life, Mind Over Matter, and A Day For Honey, the pair have a
shared professional music experience. They meet their listeners at the
gate and provide benign guidance into what is Earthling Massive.
To understand Earthling Massive one must begin with the form and
foundation, the rhythm, drum and bass.
Earthling Massive benefit from a rhythm section of true peers with a
decade of intense collaborative songwriting, performing and recording. Dave Case
and J. Booty are the Earthling Massive musical footprint. Both forming and
re-forming bands since the 90's, they have found Earthling Massive their
calling.
With pathfinders Reynolds and Jorg lighting the way through the
expanse of probability crafted by Case and J. Booty, bandmates Mike Liota and Greg
Kubacki provide the pabulum needed to traverse the Earthling Massive
soundscape.
In the 90's Liota cut his teeth co-creating a production company to
sponsor raves. This is where he honed his DJ skills. A phonic atmosphere designed
by Liota and Kubacki provides the depth of emotion in an Earthling Massive
title. Drawing from a broad range of musical influences, Kubacki provides
power and grace to Earthling Massive compositions.
Kubacki's experience with Neck, signed to both Striving For
Togetherness and Chosin records, and the release of two full length albums, has
emboldened Earthling Massive with yet another dedicated musician with
experience in performing live, recording and touring.
Earthling Massive are the future of music. To their credit they
toil at 9-5 jobs that other's consider careers: a jeweler, a waiter, a driver, a
business owner, a seller of insurance, a graphic artist, but music is their
calling and there is a need to commit to the demands of creating music for
the chance to interpret, in their own way, that which is truly important,
the human experience, the human condition, the Earthling Massive.
