~ I play online video games in my spare time, which there isn't very much of lately. I like movies, music and computers.I like going out with friends and just talking........~ I am a firm believer in equal rights. I'm an avid supporter of the Gay and Lesbian Movement. The constitution of the United States of America, guarrantees the right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness to all Americans. It does not say only heterosexuals. It says ALL!. it's not who you love, but how you love. I do not believe the government should have control over who we love and want to spend our lives with.

~ I'D like to meet new friends to laugh with and talk to.
I'd like to meet friends, like the ones in this song.
"It doesn't happen all at once," said the Skin Horse. "You become. It takes a long time. That's why it doesn't often happen to people who break easily, or have sharp edges, or who have to be carefully kept. Generally by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand."
The Velveteen Rabbit~ Like the velveteen rabbit from the story, most of us go through life every day, just trying to be loved..to be "real". Many of us struggle trying to "get someplace"' and we don't even realize we may already be where we're trying to go. And when we realize we are there, its too late and the rest of the world has moved on. The song, "Where The Heart Is", Says: " "You may find all your dreams have already come true". So many of us are trying to find our dreams. What we dont realize is that most of our dreams have already come true. Just because they don't ,(or didn't last), doesn't make them any less significant. I'd like to think all my dreams came true. I've enjoyed good health most of my life, I've Always had food to eat and a roof over my head, And I've been in love with someone who made me truely happy. All my dreams have come true... I just wish some of them would have lasted a little longer. Every relationship, makes us a little stronger. I haven't had the easiest life, but most of my outer shell has been loved off and I know, inside, I'm real.~ As far as celebrities, I'd really like to meet Ellen Degeneres. I think she would be an awsome person to have as a friend. She has a good heart. Shes funny, talented, and a very caring person, and shes not afraid to speak up for what she believes in. Her show is one of the best Ive ever had the pleasure of watching. *** I would also like to meet Kate Winslet. Intelligence, personality, charm, talent, straight forwardness, good humor...Whats not to like about Kate. Besides being an extrordinary actor, she is a gifted singer as well and has sung in at least five of her films. The song; "What If?", from Christmas Carol The Movie, Is one of the best songs Ive ever heard. Born on Oct. 5th 1975, 32 year old Kate, holds the title for being the youngest Actor ever to be nominated for 5 Acadamy Awards. Marlon Brando held the title previously with 4 nominations by age thirty. The entertainment community is extremely lucky to have such a talented and gifted actor as they have in Ms.Winslet. I hope she continues to work and grace our movie screens for many years to come.....

~ MARTIN Luther King had a dream of a world free of violence and hatred where people of different nationalities and race could live together in unity. John Lennon imagined a place where everyone lived in peace and harmony. Rodney King once asked the question: "Can't we all just get along?" Thats a question i've wondered myself for many years. In the song: "Another day In Paradise", Phil Collins tackles the tradgedy of homelessness. It tells the tale of people, who rather than stop to help someone in need, choose, instead, to pretend not to notice at all. It's time more people stopped pretending not to notice. it's time we stop making excuses and get up and do something to help wherever we can in whatever way we can. Even as much as a kind word can make all the difference in the world to someone who is at a low point in their life. In the past few years, terrorism has left a mark on thousands of lives and brought the nation closer than its ever been before. Natural disasters, in the past 2 years alone, have left thousands of people and amimals displaced and homeless. Global warming is making a huge impact on our environment and our wildlife. I don't really know where im going with all of this except to say that we have to do what we can now to change things if we want our children and granchildren to have a place to grow up in. A better place than what we had. It's up to all of us to pull together and make a difference. You dont have to be rich to help others in need or to do something to protect the environment and make a change. Volunteer at a local shelter, offer a ride, or just be a listening ear. Do things to help the environment. Carpool with co-workers rather than drive yourself to work. Volunteer your time to help clean up litter in parks or along highways. Plant a tree. Every little thing helps. We have to Start making a difference now or there won't be a place for our children or our grandchildren for the future. There's no time for hatred and senseless violence. Lets work together to find the answers and make the world a better place for our children and our childrens children. Together..we can make a difference.
I love all music...If I like the music, but not the lyrics, I'll listen. If I like the lyrics, but not the music, I'll listen. All music is good in its own way.No matter what is going on in my life, theres always a song that fits the time. Music is a mirror to the soul. It heals the heart and cheers the weary mind. It's the greatest blessing in life............
~Beaches has always been my favorite movie. I;m also a big Lord Of the Rings Fan. Harry Potter is another favorite. Better than Chocolate and If These Walls Could Talk 2, are great movies for adult viewers. My number One choice for a family movie is Finding Neverland. It has a wonderful storyline, excellent special effects and an A-list cast. Check it out. You'll be glad you did.

~ What can I say about television? Everything is reality TV. Although I like watching these, I prefer to watch a good drama or sitcom.I enjoy watching "The L Word", and own the first 2 seasons on DVD. My favorite show on TV these days is CSI Miami.
~ I still think Agatha Christie was a great mystery writer, but these Days, Mary Higgins Clark is what I mostly read. The Harry Potter Series is also excellent.
~ As far as a hero goes, I would have to say, my father
was my hero. He was a great man. A hard worker, my father tried hard to give our family the things we needed and wanted. He passed away in 1976 when I was just 16, but he will forever be my hero.
~I live in Sterling Heights Michigan, with my 14 year daughter,Corey, and my two adorable cats,(Peaches and Doink).
A man was walking along the beach one day as the tide went out. As he walked, he would bend down and pick up the tiny sea creatures left behind by the receding waters and toss them out to sea again. He had been walking along repeating this task for several hours when he came across another man walking in the opposite direction. Out of curiousity, the second man asked; "What is it you're doing there man?" The first man answered: " I'm tossing these creatures back into the water so they dont die." The second man looked at him, shook his head and said; " You know...there must be hundreds, maybe even thousands of these creatures lying on the beach. Theres no way you can possibly save them all." The first man thought for a min... then looked down at the tiny shelled creature there in his hand. He tossed it back into the Ocean and said with a smile..."No...But I saved that one."
