Okay its about time i really say whats up, I’m stoked to get themongospot.com back up and broadcasting! March i will be broadcasting my insanity no matter where what or who i’m doing. Expect more tunes, i’ve been feverishly writing new stuff and performing more, so turn on your waffle irons! Themongospot.com will be where my shit will be as of today. Shabunk.com is slowly working back to society, we got stalled due to Shabunk corperate talks with house of blues, yes, you read correctly!The song that i have up was cowritten with the Dubsmith an old roomate and friend of mine when I lived in philly years ago. Moving out west kinda changed that ability to play with him but current technology has allowed us to reunite. He’s obviously talented and its fun to work with him again however we can figure it out. Thats kinda why I created Shabunk, or at least one of the many reasons there are for it, but now we can transfer our music to each other and have a place to play it, show it, share it what ever we want. Shabunk is "revolutionary," in the fact that its gonna change everything. I don’t really need to play it up cause it is what it is. Shabunk.com is the future, and people can climb on and be a part or watch the universe pass them by. I wanted a way for bands to be heard, other then you tube, and something they controlled. Its still underconstruction and will be for years cause we are doing some groundbreaking shit there. We have refocused, and i’m back at work now that I can focus full time on this project. Things are moving fast, and i’ve got new tracks i’m working on getting up here.
This is the first video i’ve ever shot hope you guys enjoy it but thank ras for music, none of my next level stuff would never occur had Shortbus and Ras given me this opportunity. Band Members: Seriously, if you want to sing, laugh and have the effing time of your life at a mellow place come see me, I'll be playing acoustically in carlsbad, ca, on tuesday nights, at a bar called the cantina on state street. Its a killer tiny whole in the wall, with an eclectic group of musicians who frequent the place. Thursday nights I'm playing at "The Royal Dive," in oceanside. Wanna see some funny shit? Its out of hand and with no other good bands to really see in town right now, may as well come blow off some steam, get stoned and have some fun or I'll refund your free admission, in oceanside on thursday nights at the "Royal Dive." I'm gonna be bringing in bands i'm working with to play this small quaint, little joint. If you are too far away, as soon as we get this place dialed in, I will be broadcasting live, and playing the reruns on shabunk. Sounds Like: Soon my stupid nightly live webcasts will be on again, especially now during the test phases of Shabunk, its pretty funny shit, and some of it probably sucks, whatever happens in my garage stays on earth? Not too many people know about it yet, so i guess i gotta tell someone. My friends won't even watch it but the government does. Soon I'll be broadcasting the open mics I play, cause well this bandmember John Deer is the shit. It is really a deer, but you just have to tune in to see it. He played with Shortbus for a tour and some shows, and is eagerly awaiting his comeback timed perfectly with mine. I'm focusing on my music now, and working with a bunch of other bands, instead of putting all my energy into something that didn't seem to appreciate it. My broadcasts could be a live show i'm playing, some songs i'm spinning with crazy footage off the net or personal footage, who knows, could be the in house band playing, elvis, homer, bart, bill clinton and John the singing Deer. Its been up for a while and its the type of thing you can watch or just leave playing but you never know what could go down.
