About Me

Battleship Friendship is made up of 4 talented young men that all work in the parking lot of a independent movie theatre in Albany, New York. When we all became friends we all somewhat fell into the same kind of musical dream. We first started as a 3 peice, 2 guitars and a drumset, but quickly found the other parking lot attendent and brought him in as our bass player, and quickly the band was formed. Im not sure what style of music we can be considered, but the influences that shine through are bands like Mogwai, Explosions in the sky and Godspeed you black emperor!,

Influences: Our Influences range far from Phish to Elliot Smith to Mars Volta. We love the bands Mogwai, Explosions in the Sky, Godspeed You Black Emperor!, Sharkquest, The Wasted, Gay Tastee, Small axe, Lightning Bolt, Balloons, Ghost, Bright Eyes, Elliot Smith, Low, Dinosaur Jr., and the list goes on and on
