About Me

The Vancouver Story Slam take place every 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month, when we bring you up to eight storytellers each competing for not only the bragging rights, but also a first prize of $25 and a place in our semi-finals. First prize this year for the Story Slam Champion 2008 will be an half ounce gold Maple Leaf ($510).It's first come, first served; stories should be no longer than 5 minutes and judges will be chosen at random from the audience. $5 entry for storytellers, but no cover for general admission. Hosted by Ivan Penaluna.
