Citius...Altius...Fortius...and then you have to really want it!

About Me

I'm actually 19...or feel like I am. I LOVE to run and in general push myself hard in everything I do. Life's short and there's nothing more expensive than regret so, I go for it - day in and day out. Jadi Hastiin (pronounced Ye-da Ho-steen) is my gifted Navajo name, and one I am very honored by and it means "Antelope Man". Growing up in very rural East Texas, I had a horse before I had a bike - and I had my legs before I had a horse - and even today my legs and my dreams have taken me more places!

My Interests

Running, Writing, Music, Native American causes...MLB and the NFL - Sports in general...

I'd like to meet:

(past tense): Amelia Earhart, Martin Luther King, Jr., Jim Morrison, Steve Prefontaine, Bill Bowerman, Geronimo, Kit Carson...

Music:

Like it all...got everything from ABBA to 2Pac to Roxy Music to Lynard Skynard to Ozzy on my ipod...ON THAT NOTE: If you are with a band and wish to send me a Friend Request, PLEASE send that request to my band's - Gypsy Child - MySpace site...thanks...

Movies:

Smoke Signals, Without Limits, Apollo 13, Bull Durham, The Right Stuff, BASEketball...

Television:

You mean TV? Yeah, if there's some decent sporting event on!

Books:

'A Confederacy of Dunces' by John Kennedy Toole. I enjoy Tony Hillerman's work and if former Olympian (runner) Kenny Moore writes anything, rest assured I'm ALL over it!

Heroes:

My Parents - my mom for teaching me, "If you can't say anything nice then don't say anything at all"...and my dad for simply bearing with me...

My Blog

A lot of cheating in sports and...in life...

Watson Wyatt?  I saw another MySpace member calling himself an "underwear model for Watson Wyatt in San Diego" so what's up wit...
