About Me

Tyrell Washington. Music and tattoos pretty much sums it all up. Music and dance have been my methods of expression throughout life. Growing up, music has always had a major influence on me. Dancing, for me, creates and fulfills many of my dreams. I'm currently a professional working dancer/choreographer. I've had the opportunity to work beside some of the most talented choreographers (i.e. Fatima Robinson). Recently I've done choreographer for living legend Heavy D, and also contributed to the choreographer of Beyonce's last world tour "The Beyonce Experience" and in the past, Destiny's Child "Destiny Fulfilled & Loving It Tour". Over these short, but amazing years, I've worked with a variety of artists (Beyonce, Rihanna, Usher, Mariah Carey, Cassie, Paula Abdul, Erika Jayne, Missy Elliot, Nicole S., Colby O'donis, etc.) even Hannah Montana. I love traveling and having the chance to meet so many incredibly talented people (in more ways than just dancing and singing). This broadens my mind and creates unique experiences for me. Just to add.. recently I was introduced to a fast growing sport called MMA. Its most commonly known as cage fighting or UFC. Elite XC is a MMA company with some of the most talented fighters on the planet (i.e. Gina Carano, Kimbo Slice, Nick Diaz, Robbie Lawler, etc.) Their company is one of few that widely promotes women in the sport. I must say, seeing these women fight in person is the ultimate display of passion, heart, and pure entertainment! At the moment they haven't developed as much as the men have, but with every one of their fights stealing the shows, its only a matter a time. Elite XC will be returning to CBS on October 4th at 9pm in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl featuring Gina Carano taking on Kelly Kobold. With Kobold doing all her shit talking, it'll be interesting to see what she actually throws at Gina. Check out Gina as she continues to hold her rep as the UNDEFEATED face of women's MMA!! A little promotion for you to look into to. Lol ,Ty

My Interests

Since I have this layout, I figured I'd do this. I'm constantly listening to music & thinking of ideas for beats that I do create myself. Always thinking of new ideas for tattoos.. so far I have twelve, I think (lol). I enjoy putting together original choreographer & having the opportunity for other people to actually see it. I just love being active any way I can, but above all, my number priority is to be a good father. That always comes first.

I'd like to meet:

Music:

Anything with a catchy beat gets my attention. A few specific artists that I listen to on a regular basis.. *rap/hip hop: Black Ralph (local, Bay Area), Jay-z, Nas, Kanye, Lil' Wayne (that goes without saying), etc. *r&b: Usher, Neyo, Robin Thicke, Kelly Rowland (I think she gets overlooked alot), Sean Garrett, etc. *alternative: Electrik Red (local, newly signed to def jam), One Republic (great music), Gym Class Heroes (a fuse of hip hop & alternative).. still trying to explore this genre of music.

Movies:

I'm not much of a movie person, but if we ever have the time to go to the movies, I'm always fighting to watch a horror movie (lol). Some greats that I have enjoyed.. Stomp the yard & Dreamgirls ; ), The Saw Chronicles (lol), Touristas, The Ruins (weird but good), Wanted, Hostel, anything Tyler Perry, Crash (great), any oldie with Pam Grier ; ), The Ninth Gate (good after the third watch), anything gangster, etc.

Television:

I don't watch television much, but when I do have time I'll try to find some type of sport.. Basketball, Football, MMA, etc. Reality shows have really taken over, so when I'm forced to share the t.v. (lol) some reality show is on.. late night goodies or just something to watch.. Southpark, Family Guy, Reno 911 (I love to laugh)

Books:

Usually, If I read a book, someone gave it to me to read. Recently I was given "Child of God". Some books that I've finished.. Stranger, Da Vinci Code, Malcom X & Nelson Mandela's Autobiography.. A Long Walk To Freedom (still working on that one).

Heroes:

An amazing woman named Tiffanie who is constantly teaching me to put all my faith in God & just let go. Her faith & strength has allowed her to overcome cancer. There's no better lesson in life than to keep your trust in God! What an inspiration!!
