About Me

The memory is vivid before I could master walking, I knew to wind my hips, snap my fingers and coo along to every song I heard on the radio. I tried to emulate everyone from Madonna to Diana Ross in Central Park, coordinating Dianes costume changes using whatever I could get my hands on in my moms closet, to make my performance more authentic. Never shy or timid, I would showcase my talents for anyone eager to watch. Well, several years later that eagerness still lives within me, and instead of limiting my talents to family and friends I want the world to be my audience.Since the age of three I have always commanded the attention of others by performing for family and friends at social gatherings. I started training with a non-profit organization called Kids 2 Go. Being a part of the organization required several hours a week of stage technique, dance and vocal lessons in preparation for several fundraisers and television appearances. At one particular NAACP awards show at which Michael Jackson was being honored, he rewarded the Kids 2 Go performance with a standing ovation. That was definitely one of the most memorable experiences for me at such a tender age in my adolescence. This, and the encouragement from my family, supported my drive to further pursue a career as an entertainer. While attending the high school of Music and Performing Arts, I gained my discipline and technique in Ballet, Modern and Drama, and managed to match my artistic excellence with outstanding academic performance. Understanding the volatile nature of the entertainment industry, I continued my education and secured a bachelors degree at St. Johns University; majoring in Psychology and Social Work, I graduated with honors on the Deans list. Throughout my collegiate years, I started to pry into the music industry by doing Extra work on several music videos and networked my way through auditions. Shortly after, my excellent work edict and determination helped me land principle roles as a dancer for a plethora of artists from Usher to Whitney Houston. When Im not touring Im working on my singing group Electrik Red or practicing drawing and trying to perfect my other artistic talents.Over the past few years in the music industry, I have made a strong impression on many as a dancing diva. Balancing career, creative expertise along with professionalism and ambition, I have worked hard to make a name for myself as one of the music industrys upcoming stars as an entertainer. Being a professional dancer has afforded me the opportunity to explore the world, and broaden my dreams and aspirations. Never setting limitations on myself, I am eager to break into the acting scene and bring all my talents and charisma to film and television.
