Hi all, I was born in Birmingham (too long ago) UK and have had a great life and I am looking forward to the rest of it! For anyone younger reading this, trust me that it gets better the older you get. I guess you start to realise how good life is and the forties for me were epic! I have a great job which is cool, as I once read that you spend two thirds of your life at work, so be happy! When I left school, I became a professional golfer and that is where I met Rick Price and Bev Bevan from the Move. Rick one day told me that they were forming a new band with a string section! The name of this new band, was ELO, I thought he was mad, but the rest is history!Many years later I worked with the brother of Mick Jones from Foreigner. I got to know Mick quite well around the time Foreigner had just released the first album which went on to sell millions! The next few years were really cool and I was privileged to be able to get inside info on the band as well as chat to Mick about his work (he used to write songs for Cliff!) My favourite place in the world is NEW YORK. I was there two years ago and it is just the most amazing city and I can't wait to go back! One of my passions in life is F1 and I was lucky enough to get to know the Jordan Grand Prix Team, and through that got to know EJ, John Watson and many more. My other interests are Photoshop, music and football, (I manage a kids football team in my spare time.) My inspiration is my youngest boy Matthew, thats him over the other side. He is a talented footballer and at the tender age of 10, had to have a Cruciate Ligament operation to his knee. A few weeks after the op, he was diagnosed with Juvenile Arthritis! He never complains and just gets on with life!
