About Me

I've recently been contracted to come to Yemen to start an airline. Similar to the whole airline startup experience I had here in Hong Kong, but this time in a region that I've never been to. The work hours here are surreal (working from 8:30am to 2:30 with 1 or 2 hour breakfast and lunch breaks. Oh, and don't mention time to pray). I've taken time to visit the area and do a bit of travelling to neighboring countries like Turkey, Lebanon, Israel. It certainly is different to anything else I've seen.
I have an extensive list of key interests: 1) martial arts (especially Muay Thai and Wushu weapons) 2) flying airplanes and racing motorcycles, 3) travelling (anywhere and everywhere. Anyone wants to go with me to Pyongyang?), 4) the arts (dancing, theater, museums). Life is boring without enjoying the finer things.
I consider myself adventurous, intelligent, open minded, and successful at accomplishing any task. Yet I also recognize that I've been given many opportunities that few others in this world have had, and thus I cherish the opportunity to share.
I love to travel and have been to many exotic places in the world: Yemen, Bhutan, Cambodia, India, Thailand, China, Vietnam, Ecuador, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, all over Western Europe and North America. One day I'll open up a little cafe out in some mountain in Africa, cater to backpackers who want to hear my travel stories.

Al Mukallah

One of the perks of this project is that I get to fly first class on any of my client's flights. The sad thing about it, besides the long hours, is that not all of the flights are reliable (guess that...

Oscars

Tell me, how does a film win the Best Motion Picture academy award with little mention of its obvious basis or replication of a Hong Kong film (Infernal Affairs)?
