About Me

I'm an artist, graphic designer...for a living...all types of art... directing videos for TV up and down the east coast including set design with lighting for the productions, developing and fabricating museum exhibits involving wood work, painting, sculpture and murals, making props for movies, illustrations using pen & ink, marker, watercolor, for posters, ads for print, sign and logo designs, and my own personal art styling of stone ornament carvings and engravings and solar wood burnings that I sell at festivals. Not for money but for oysters and beer, weekly I play a mountain lap dulcimer and Strumstick (see profile pic) at a local tavern..."Tootie Greens"...Wed. The Strumstick is a skinny version of the dulcimer. I have played the dulcimer since I was a child being that my family is from the Great Smoky Mountains...the N.C. side of the range. One of the things I enjoy doing outside is to rig and sail out in a canoe packed with camping gear and then throw down at sunset on a sandy bank anywhere in the riverine wilderness on North Florida, make a fire, cook some food and just enjoy (best time, winter time...no bugs and the fire feels good!), and indoors I see taking a hot bubble bath with good music, a cool beverage, plus candles and incense as a mini-vacation at my own private spa.

My Interests

all kinds of art, local-national-world (in that order)history, world music, progressive politics (rare in northeast FL), clean cheap energy, outdoor/nature stuff, old stuff, reused stuff, thrift stores, special and unique smokes and teas, new art techniques...and my boyfriend of going on 4 years!
