Joe is the editor and publisher of Something Wicked quarterly horror and dark fiction magazine.
He began his professional career as an actor in 1994 in Joseph and has since performed in La Cage Aux Folles, Sweet Charity and Buddy Holly to name but a few. In addition to a long and varied career in musical theatre, he has worked extensively as a puppeteer, voice artist and film actor.
Along the way he performed with two bands Pregnant Fridge, followed by his own band, ten Athlone (1998 – 2004) and performed in London at The Rock Garden, in Covent Garden, The Hope & Anchor and the renowned jazz venue The 606 Club.
Whilst in London he also lived in a toilet in Lewisham and hung people’s coats up for three years to make ends meet, but he doesn’t let that get him down.
In 2003 Joe formed Inkless Media Productions . Though initially started as a web design platform, Inkless Media soon become an independent film production company and in 2004/5, Joe co-produced, wrote and directed 3 short films, Play By Heart, Blue Valentine and Beyond Words in collaboration with Scriptwright Production Alliance .
His love of writing and reading brought him to the idea of Something Wicked, a platform for SA writers and artists to showcase their abilities.
He currently works full time as an actor, writer and director and now publisher.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Writing, and indeed publishing, is pretty lonely profession so it's always great to meet other writers and creatives. Something Wicked exists purely through the support of our contributors and writers who are passionate about their craft. Please help us keep Something Wicked alive.

Music:

Far too may to mention but off here's some I'm listening to right now:
Radiohead
Goldfrapp
Sigur Ros

ten Athlone
Cocteau Twins
Dead Can Dance
Tears For Fears
and many many many more

Movies:

Again there are tons of these but I guess if I go for the classics then Shawshank Redemption, The Alien Series, The Green Mile, Amelie, Breakfast Club, The Lord of The Rings, Blade Runner, The Matrix (the first one only), Lawrence of Arabia, Before Sunrise and Before Sunset, Pirates of The Caribbean, Evil Dead Trilogy, Spiderman, Batman Begins,
