About Me

What you see is pretty much what you get....I love to hang out with my family and friends. Spending time outside with them is one of my favorite things to do. Last summer we went caving, swimming and hiking, I hope to do more of that this next summer. I have four wonderful kids and four wonderful bonus kids (let us not forget about the bonus dog and rat). We live in a 100+ year old house with my Husky (Sky) and a black cat (Chevy). I adore my boyfriend Rick...he is truly one of a kind!! Too bad for the rest of the ladies...this one is taken :-)

My Interests

I love camping, hiking, reading, cooking a new dish, trying new wines, playing at the park with my kids and dog, going to comedy clubs, movies, fishing (I even bait my own hook"! Horseback riding & gardening. The list seems to be endless. It would be a shorter list of things I don't like to do...hmmm could painting be one of them?*smile*

I'd like to meet:

Not much of a celebrity seeker, I would rather spend my time talking and meeting people who live in the same general area as I do. New friends who like to laugh, love and enjoy life. Music:

I don't have a favorite artist and I like my music a little mixed up. Country, Jazz, Blues, Contemporary, Bluegrass, Christian, Classical, Rock, Alternative, Acoustic......I don't care for much rap, head banging crap....I like to be able to understand the words :)

Movies:

I like all sorts of movies..comedies I must admit are my favorite, but throw in a good chick flick, popcorn and kleenex and I would be very content!

Television:

I don't get a chance very often to veg out in front of the tube so my list of what I watch is pretty short. I decided a little while ago to get one of those gadgets that record your favorite shows so you can watch them anytime. Great idea whoever created that little monster. Now I have over 100 hours of shows that I would love to watch, but never seem to take the time.I guess they will be there when I slow down a bit!Law and Order.....any of themCSICopsDesparate Housewives (I know...I know....I feel my IQ points dropping rapidly..but I love it anyway!)Extreme Home Makeover
