My name is Steve Hubbard and I am a 36 year old Male. I am 6 foot 3 - 3/4 inches tall, Caucasian/White and single. I have never been married as I have failed to meet miss right. I like to think of myself as a Business Entrepreneur and have some times made money off the gold and silver market, but my real passion is writing. I have written several novels. Currently I am in the process of rewriting three of my spiritual, religious - fiction novels which make up a triology and combining them into one single huge novel to help keep down publishing costs. I am not quite sure the affect it will have on my future royalties but I know the Lord makes all things work for the good for those who love HIM.
I am of the Christian Faith and have read the Holy Bible over 18 times cover to cover. I just read 10 pages a day each and every day and soon it begins to add up to a lot. One would think that after reading the whole Bible over 18 times that it would get old, But that has never been the case. Each time one reads their Bible it seems as if one gets an entirely new message as one gets deeper into GOD's Holy Word. I think that for anyone to have negative comments and/or feelings toward GOD'S WORD probably means that they have never really read the entire scriptures with an open heart. I feel there is a calling on my life to improve upon my writing skills to one day write a great Truthful Christian novel which will help to being individuals into a deeper and necessary loving relationship with our LORD.
I also enjoy lifting iron. I am a fairly avid amature Bodybuilder as I love to work out to keep in fairly decent shape. This year is going to become a milestone for me because I have always heard that it is so much more difficult to stay in shape after the age of 35 years old. So this year I began with a News years Resolution to get my body into the best shape that I have ever been in throughout my entire life. I will break the over the hill after 35 stereotype as I love the sport of bodybuilding and will be lifting weights way into my retirement years. "Remember we can do all things in HIM who strengthens us " and " in our weakness HIS strength is perfected. "
MY Secret = I have been Celibate for over a decade. After the conception of my son Kody John out of wedlock in November of 1994. I decided to wait until marriage not only out of my Love and devotion to Our LORD, but also so that I will never have to go through the pain of having to give up another child.
Having to give up my son "KODY" for adoption without my consent was so devastating that I went through some extremely difficult times. I used to think that I could just do anything I wanted without any consequences. It is not like I made a special vow or anything, and I have had many oppertunities but I guess the realization of just how it can mess ones life up and how it changes each and every situation just began to give me a better understanding of how much importance is placed on the act. I realized that when I use to bring sex into the relationship too early that It just seems to complicate the whole love thing and I did not know if I was in the relationships for love or just for sex. Some day when or if I do meet Miss Right I will be certain that it will truely be Love and that is because I waited. I call my celebacy my little secret because I use to be ashamed to tell anyone in this day and age just how long it has been for the fear that they might think that there must be something grotesquely wrong with me. But in the bigger picture we all have to stop worring what each other thinks of us and concentrate more on what our Heavenly Father thinks. The LORD works in mysterious ways and with HIM there is a much greater depth of wisdom and understanding.
