WHO WE ARE
Multi-platinum producer and songwriter, Veit Renn , has teamed up with renown Guitarist Bradly Catron, Gospel/Soul Singer Janice Renn and international recording artist Jamie WilliamS to form an eclectic Band performing Jazz, Soul and R&B.
Veit Renn , a Berklee graduate known for his work with groups like N’Sync and Backstreet Boys has a strong background in soul and R&B music. Growing up, some of his favorite artists were George Benson, Al Jarreau, Take 6 and Stevie Wonder. These influences stayed strongly in his heart and still reflect in his music today.
Bradly Catron , a native New Yorker, received his masters in Jazz improv’ from NYU and immediately became an invaluable session player in the New York studio session scene. After years playing on Broadway and touring with artists such as: “ Oleta Adams, Gato Babieri, Phyllis Hyman, David Sanborn, 5th Dimension and a host of others, he has settled in the Central Florida area to compose and perform.
Janice Renn is a native Floridian and has recorded over 10 Albums with the Florida Mass Choir, a Stella Award Nominee, and performed through out Central Florida for many years. Janice has performed the National Anthem at the Orlando Magic games, and the Sebring International car races, for the National Conference of State Legislators, to name a few.
Jamie WillamS , .... a confident master of his craft,he is quickly carving his place in music history. Jamie's sound bursts with passion and verve; you can feel the emotional colors flowing from his sax. His ballads whisper and weep; his upbeat numbers snap and swing. Jamie eases into smooth and cool, or after a tasty flurry of furious funk, he sends a single, soulful note soaring high over clouds of rhythm.
His music is currently playing all around the country on most Smooth Jazz-Radio station in regular rotation. It is a blessing to have him join Forte.
FORTE is a mixture of continents, cultures, tastes in music and a desire to blend these diverse elements into one sound. Jazz standards in a more modern funk format, R&B with a jazz twist, soul with a hip-hop edge, vocals tunes and instrumentals in a mixture of 70’s to present day is what you will hear when these extraordinary musicians take the stage.
