We must be the change we wish to see in the world

About Me

My name is Stephan and I was born in Amsterdam, New York. I spent my early childhood in the Republic of Zaire. My Swiss family and I moved to the United States in '91 fleeing the political uproar of the Congolese people against their President Mobutu. My musical inspirations come from a wealth of artists including ABBA, the Bee Gees, and the Pet Shop Boys.

I come from a small, neutral (and flippin' amazing) country named Switzerland. People always get confused and say, You're Swedish, right?. Nah, I'm Swiss - although I have to admit, I really feel like I'm on the same wave-length as the Swedes. My favorite songwriters are Swedish, so I might as well just nod "Yes" the next time someone asks.

B.A. in "Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management."
Member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers.
Currently based in Sarasota, Florida.
