Most of all hearing new music, especially bands that are ahead of their time.Ragtime, Classical(some), Mississippi Delta Blues, 20-30's pre big band jazz ie "flapper music". nothing from the 40's, everything from the 50's to modern. cut my teeth on SoCal punk rock circa 79-83. Was part of that scene. ie was in a band with Warren of the Vandals(ps they suck now Warren, sorry)
