About Me

We were kinda inspired knowing that so many great records were made on 8-tracks or less during the '60s and '70s, which I guess you could consider the 8-track era. We didn't use laptops. It is all tape editing, no computers. Those conveniences encourage people to make bad art. They don't learn to be resourceful. People who don't combine the old with new, or who have anything at their fingertips, tend not to involve themselves in the creative process enough to make something sort of soulful. - J.Trosper

I read somewhere that every wall's a door to something new. Well, if that's true, why can't I get through? Because I'm not who I thought I was, and I can't explain. - RoS

I believe that there will ultimately be a clash between the oppressed and those that do the oppressing. I believe that there will be a clash between those who want freedom, justice and equality for everyone and those who want to continue the systems of exploitation. - X

The idea that things must have a beginning and an end is really due to the poverty of our imagination. - Bertrand Russell

I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving hysterical naked, dragging themselves through the negro streets at dawn looking for an angry fix, angelheaded hipsters burning for the ancient heavenly connection to the starry dynamo in the machinery of night. -Allen G.

Always make the pigs pay. J. Arnot

This man:

"FUCK ROCK. Fuck cigarettes and slicked back hair that ends in a pony tail and a high door price. Maturity and progression do not mean status quo music and ideals. Under the false pretense of reaching new audiences, former punk bands bring us closer to square one, throwing out the window the foundation of independance which took years to build. This band is an attempt to reinforce those quickly eroding foundations. Maybe these "rock" types don't see it this way, but speaking as someone who has never been lured by the slippery slope of psuedo concerned UPC code post hardcore bullshit, common sense tells me that no matter how many reggae songs you write about human rights, your audience will still "rock out" and drink wine coolers. Then they'll go home and fuck like dogs to your politically concerned kick ass tunes. THE MEDIUM IS THE MESSAGE!"-Adam from Born Against
