About Me

Hello world my name is Kavin. I am from a city called Tulsa and reside and work in a community called the Greenwood District, once known as the Black Wall Street of America. Among many skills I am a writer musician photographer. Currently I am working on a book entitled Redbirds on Greenwood. The work is based off of the Tulsa Race Riot of 1921. Every since the State of Oklahoma Commissioned a report about this terrible event, I have covered it as well as assisted with the research. Some of my contributions can be found in media programs such as 60 minutes 2, CNN,The History Channel, Tony Brown's Journal and many others. My writing can be found in Black Wall Street, Riot of Greenwood, The Study of the Tulsa Race Riot Commision Report. The Oklahoma Eagle, Riot and Rememberance, and many others. I am very active in my community.

My Home Boy Charlie Wilson who hails from Tulsa and his band's name; G.A.P. stand for Greenwood Archer and Pine, name of streets in the Black community in Tulsa!
