I'd prefer to meet people that don't judge books by their cover, appreciate art in all of it's forms, enjoy going out to clubs and bars, and are open minded about music and fashion. People that are comfortable enough in themselves to show up early and even sit in an empty bar for awhile just to listen to good music. Warhol-esque personalities. Close minded judgemental types need not apply. So yes, if I think your 'cool' and might be interested in the music that my promotions company promotes I might send you an unsolicited friends request. I perceive it as no different from handing you a flyer in a club, I've met many a good person that way. If I knew you, I probably wouldn't have to hand you one after all, though I probably would anyway. ;) Hey, it doesn't mean I don't want to talk to you. Send me a message, I'll respond.
