About Me: Born in W.Bengal, Educated in Europe. Working in the area of Information Technology in Berlin, Germany. I used to play saxophone in my free time but I am definitely not a musician. I do write features and articles of cultural happening from Europe for Indian and Bangladeshi newspapers.

I don't drink CocaCola and never eat Hamburger. Always brave to younger and show my respect to elder persons. I do laugh, cry, sniff the tears and show joy of life. If you like to know more about me then you have to open yourself first, narrate your story and I will tell you my story.

I am here to meet friends from all over the world. I cant understand, why people get asked to be added as friend and afraid to talk with.

I don't accept images and photos, send by friends, brighter than 600 pixels, cause it breaks the design of my site

Join the Group GCAP: Global Call to Action against Poverty GCAP, a worldwide alliance of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) committed to making a breakthrough on poverty in 2005 and calling for EU member states to honour their commitments to reach the 0.7 percent target and agree binding timetables to actually meeting this objective

European Union development ministers agreed on 24th May 2005 to raise the level of the bloc's aid spending by 20 billion euros (25.3 billion dollars) by 2010. GCAP welcomed the EU agreement and said the new accord could have a ”persuasive effect” on the United States, Japan and Canada to honour commitments they have already made

Under the plans drafted by Louis Michel, EU Commissioner for development and humanitarian aid, the EU's 15 older - and richer - member states will make up the bulk of the effort to reach the objective with a commitment to spend at least 0.51 percent of GNI (Gross National Income) on aid by 2010 and at least 0.7 percent by 2015.

Agenda21: When the world’s governments met at the Earth summit in Rio de Janeiro in 1992, they adopted a programme for action under the auspices of the United Nations — Agenda 21. Amongst other things, this included an Official Development Assistance (ODA) aid target of 0.7% of gross national product (GNP) for rich nations, roughly 22 members of the OECD, known as the Development Assistance Committee (DAC).Net ODA in 2004 as % of GNI
