You Belong in Rome
You're a big city girl with a small town heart
Which is why you're attracted to the romance of Rome
Strolling down picture perfect streets, cappuccino in hand
And gorgeous Italian men - could life get any better? What City Do You Belong In?

Music:

In no particular order: Caedmon's Call, Switchfoot, Paul Allan/Nouveaux, Bebo Norman, Norah Jones, Big Bad Voodo Daddy, Everybody Duck, Ten Shekle Shirt, Skillet, Small Town Poets, Downhere, By The Tree, Reliant K, Buddy Holly, Lifehouse, Temptations, Billy Joel, Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Dean Martin Beatles, Kutless... In terms of genres, I like Jazz (especially Big Band & Swing) and Oldies (particularly late 40's to early 60's).

Movies:

I'm far too indecisive to have a favorite but here are a few that I like: Pride & Prejudice, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Return to Me, The Italian Job, Band of Brothers, Pirates of the Caribeean series, You've Got Mail, IQ, Sleepless in Seattle, Princess Bride, A Few Good Men, Two Weeks Notice, Oceans 11 & 12, Maid in Manhattan, The Game, True Lies, Dave, The Natural, Awakenings, Ground Hog's Day, Patch Adams, Remember the Titans, The Wedding Singer, Down to You, Maverick, The Princess Diaries, Bandits, Contact, Mrs. Doubtfire...and just about any movie with Tom Hanks or Meg Ryan

Books:

I enjoy reading but for some unknown reason I particularly like reading books with short chapters. I'm much less likely to get through a 200 page novel with few or no chapters than a boring 500 page textbook with a 100 chapters. Go figure.

Heroes:

the inventors of chocolate chip cookies, macaroni and cheese, gelato, deoderant, tampons and gourmet coffee!

A Farwell to Summer

Wasting my time

I have placed a lot of value on my time and hate it when I realize I have wasted it. There, its gone; a moment never to be regained. The harder I try to not waste my time, the more I end up wasting. ...

Coming to grips with who I am

Over the past few months, random circumstances have shown me just how thorough of a person I am. I had no idea how much my attention to detail permeates in all that I think, say and do. My indecisiven...
