Now playing: Brainiac Fingers's station - Solo guitar
All of these guitar pieces feature the added ambiance of the limpid background accompaniment of screaming children. You would have heard the limpid accompaniment of gunshot and screaming children, but the tape ran out. The Guitar is pitched about a whole tone lower than it should be. I don't know if this is because I hadn't tuned it properly, or because it was recorded on a standard casssette tape and played back on a very old domestic tape deck.
ISLAND OF DREAMS
I uploaded this video to the myspace video page but people seem to be having trouble viewing it, although probably not as much trouble as I had uploading the damn thing. It plays fine for me - can't imagine what the problem is. I had a feeling this would happen, so I also uploaded it to Youtube. The video was an afterthought, but, silly as it might be, it does add a certain poignancy to the arrangement, plus it makes what's being 'sung' a tad more comprehensible. It's a beautiful song, written at a time when the word G-A-Y meant 'happy' and 'carefree', as you'll see from the first line of the song :))
Here's a cheesy, low res video I made to accompany a piece of music I wrote called The Ghost Train. It features Brainiac Fingers, Dancing Girls, and Nazis - well, one Nazi - and the girls aren't really dancing...In fact, some of them aren't really girls, thery're only drawings. Still, Brainiac Fingers is in it. What more could you ask for? Oh, and there's also a cameo appearance by Father O'Blivion, but he's not getting any royalties for it.
