Founder member of The Driven who recorded their debut album with Polydor Uk, released to critical acclaim and charting accross Europe & Asia, extensive touring across UK & Europe with such acts as The Stereophonics , Kulashaker, Weezer, to mention a few. Festivals ,TV and massive radio play followed.
Flakey Jacob then went his own way to record an album in the early 2000s for Sony Italy under the title "Mothership" touring with Sting and Jeff Beck. Though Sony wanted album no.2 it was time for another shift.
Taking time out in Amsterdam then in Egypt where Flakey found the "divine chill" of deep sea diving. Replenished he returned to Ireland where songwriting for other artists began, who's names are a well guarded secret.....
An intense 05/06 followed, writing, recording, touring with The Driven. The band then decided to take a break.
Now in 2007 Flakey Jacob returns with musicians from many styles and genres. We're all curious... but of one thing we're certain he's a rare'n' special breed of songwriter.
