About Me

On a cold winters night in 1999, four close friends decided to get together for a jam, thus Indica was born. With an almost ever changing style and direction, Indica were seen as a volatile and exciting alternative to the general crop of hard rock and metal bands at that time. Over the years Indica played shows with some amazing bands, such as Reflux, Byzantine, Lostprophets, Eden Maine, D-Rail, Linea 77, Kill II This, Number One Son, Kilkus, Sugarcoma. Oh.....and there was a show with InMe but we best not talk about that!!
Unfortunately Indica were never to receive the recognition or success they so desperately worked towards. Ultimately there was only so many knocks they could take. Although all four members were still firmly friends and believed in the music, they made the decision to end it while still on top of their game. On the 17th September 2005, Indica played their last (and possibly best) show to a packed crowd in Trowbridge England. After 6 years, 250 shows, 2 national releases and a full UK tour the dream was sadly over.
If you didn't get a chance to get your hands on them, you can still buy Indica cds in most shops and at www.amazon.co.uk
So where are they all now? Bib is keeping himself busy with a number of projects, most notably Satchel Paige and The Ghost In Us All. Jim has joined the masters of doom Battlewitch. Daz is doing various projects including handling drum duties for The Ghost In Us All. Flit is now fronting the epic metal outfit Sharp End First.
Who knows, maybe we'll see you again someday.
