About Me

ABOUT PRE POST

Pre Post is the work of photographer Derek Van Oss. Derek has set out to photograph in a documentary style, the creative
process of motion picture production. From pre production to post production, everything is fair game and yields powerful photographs every step of the way.
From photographing a screenwriter working on the first 10 pages of his or her next script, to rehearsals with the talent, set
preparation and filming, editing and post production to the tail end of a screening at a film festival...the process of making
motion pictures is a brilliant collaboration of dozens or more extremely creative, talented and savvy people.
Headaches, chaos, backaches, grueling hours on set, rehearsals, pitching, editing, rewriting, meetings, casting sessions, festivals
- It’s all going to be thoroughly documented in the hands of Derek Van Oss via powerful, compelling and contrasted still
photos.
To have your motion picture production process considered for documentation, please send me a message .
