Weinstock 2005

Weinstock is an annual festival in Evart, Michigan(20-30 minutes east of Claire) that takes place on the 1st weekend of August. Guests will have full use of 3 fully functional homes, food and beers shelters, lake access, volley ball and basketball courts, as well as easy access parking.Guests arrive all day Friday. You will get a chance to meet, enjoy, and get wasted with new and old friends all night. There will be an optional canoe trip down the Muskegeon river if you can wake up on saturday, starting at 10am and going to roughly 3-4pm. I strongly suggest you don't sleep in and miss out on that. Make sure to take a nap after that, because the Pig Roast around 7 will put you to sleep otherwise, and you don't want to miss the concert once the sun goes down. Two bands are slated to play this year, Crazy Flying Giants out of Detroit, and another band yet to be determined. The party will then rage as long as you can last. Sunday is for sleeping in, breakfast, and the drive home.Weinstock XII (12th annual for those of you who are romo-numerically challeneged) is looking to be our biggest ever. The dates this year, are August 5th through the 7th, friday through sunday. $55 will get you all you can eat, all you can drink, pig roast, as well as canoeing. Bring your own tent and as many friends as you can to fill it. Ages 18 and older are all welcome.
