Gerald Anthony aka Jam Master K was first introduced to radio in 1984. His oldest brother James (JAY) Kelly gave him a taste of what radio was, by letting JMK sit on Friday Night Audio on WKKC. After two years of sitting & learning the ropes, it was time to move in & shine. It was the summer of 1986 when Gerald met Nailah Hodges, Jackie Posey, Lloyd (Dev) Bowman (Chicago House Radio), Romell Chilly C & Ray Dilla who became a huge part of the show "Friday Night Network Connection" & "Friday Night Audio". In 1987 while attending Harlan High School, Gerald Kelly, better known to his listening audience as Jam Master "K" quickly became one of the stars of the show. Gerald has interviewed many artists throughout his life as a dj, such as "THE BOYS", "BIG DADDY KANE", "NEW EDITION", "JANET JACKSON", "EPMD", "ADONIS"(House Music Legend), "TAKE SIX", just to name a few. Gerald has also worked with other DJ icons such as (The Late Pink House 1967-1996), Nikki Woods, First Lady Khris Raye, Al Greer, Hugo H., Walter "Get Down" Brown, Bobby Cue Bobby, Lloyd Dev, Ray Dilla, Disco Dan, and many, many more. Oldest Brother James (Jay) Kelly, Tom Joyner, & Doug Banks, were big inspirations to him as well. In 2004 Gerald starting working with Chicago House Radio (CHR) founded by Lloyd "DEV" Bowman. He wore several hats at CHR but being apart of their production team was his speciality. After much soul searching and praying, Gerald left Chicago House Radio to start his own station, the World Vibe Radio Network in early 2006. World Vibe Radio has grown from being a small internet radio station to being one of the fastest growing Internet stations across the world. World Vibe Radio plays the latest and hottest in hip hop, r&b, house and jazz...but it doesn't stop there! Gerald is currently working with bigger & better branches of the broadcasting world. It's only the beginning for Gerald and WVRN, you will hear about World Vibe Radio for many years to come. We are the vibe heard around the world, World Vibe Radio!!
