Crossfield is a Rock and Roll band formed in 2005 by four talented musicians with a common love for the great music of the 60's and 70's. They composed a variety of original songs which recreate the magic of this golden era.
Charlie Gholson has played lead guitar since age 7, growing up with bands in the Nashville area.
Rick Yost grew up in North Carolina and evolved into an excellent vocalist with bands in the Kingsport area. Together, Gholson and Yost formed the band and pooled their creative talents to compose melodic, tight songs with the 60's/70's flavor.
The Dynamic back beat is created by Rick Rand having played Drums since the age of 12. He grew up in southern California and played with bands on the west coast and in the midwest before moving to Knoxville in 2003.
The solid bottom is from Britton Felknor, who has played guitar since the age of 12 for bands in the Knoxville area.
Together they have created the sound that is known as CROSSFIELD.In November 2006, they completed their original album MIRROR OF YOUR MIND which is melodic, tight and designed to be played loud and live in the great 60's tradition. Love songs, blues, flaming solos and intricate vocal harmonies abound from these four talented players who are dedicated to their craft and will follow their musical career as far as it will go.
Crossfield has no interest in just fitting in.
