Sadistic Youth

Sadistic Youth is a Heavy and Hard hitting band that stops just short of sheer brutality. It uses attitude and a sound music sensibility instead of sonic loudness. It can only be classified as heavy metal without the limitations of a sub genre. It is a band that plays to the songs and not an image , that strives to make memorable and sellable music. It was originally created by guitar player, Pasqually, in Blackwood, New Jersey in 1990. He had a vision of the sound and just needed to find a few talented guys that could also see it too. The bands name Sadistic Youth which means (children who inflict pain upon others), represents teen angst and it's real world connection to the mosh pit. Their songs then and now, were written about real life issues and continue to reflect the lives of Americas Youth. The band is made up of Robert Pidgeon on Vocals, Pasqually on guitars, Josh Alvarez on the drums and backing vocals and Glenn McAllister on bass. Glenn was the bands first and original bass player, and had left for some time only to return better than ever. There was a long list of drummers, as well as singers along the way too. After many years of different band members Sadistic Youth pulled it together with Glenn, back where he belongs and two new solid additions, Josh and Pidge. Josh showed up on the scene as their drummer and just in the nick of time, along came Pidge, their vocalist. With much hard work and dedication they became a solid team. All of Sadistic's songs are written by it's band members, either together or separately. They are all free to bring new and exciting things to the table on a regular basis, so they're always fresh. They're very careful to never disappoint because they demand the best from themselves and each other, at all times with the intent to always please their audience. They are known and loved by many people from all walks of life. There's a certain vibe that can't quite be put into words, except to say that it's Sadistic's sound alone. Their songs always deliver and keep you wanting more at the same time. Their fans are like family to them and they can never get enough. After much hard work they are happy to present you with their brand new demo CD. The bands current CD demo, was done with the sole intent of finding a label to call home. They are able to duplicate their recorded sound live and the demo consists of four very different songs. Post Pardon is a really hard hitting, punchy, heavy metal tune about woman who kill their babies and then get off on a post partum depression defense. It explores how crazy it can actually be to kill your own children. Electricity is an old favorite that never actually gets old and are based off of what it would be like to die in the electric chair on that fatal day. What a chilling concept your thinking, you bet. Sheppard's is a new spin on just how many sheep there really are in a world that nobody is running, since "there ain't no shepperds here". Last but not least is Whole Again which is about just that. What it feels like to be a whole person inside and out, down to your soul. Sadistic Youth is a blend of Heavy Metal, Groove Core, and Hard Rock, with a bit of un-predictability while also being able to be listened to and followed along with, but without feeling removed from the experience.
