Demolished was founded in june 2005, Teddy Benny had just quit his band and wanted to play deathmetal, in the search for other musicians he asked marnic if was interested in becoming the frontman of the band by taking the vocals and the basspart on him.
Now could the hardest part begin! finding 2 good guitarplayers! Many tested but none were good enough until one day peter of absynthium gave us the emailadress of a guy from peer who bought his guitar and did music academic for quite some years. This became a succes.. we asked him to learn some covers and he amazed everyone with his speed and technique! So the band had a guitarplayer: Lowie! The next rehersal lowie had some other guy with him, his name was raymond! Raymond was a guitarplayer, he was like10 years older then us! Played his guitar for like 20 years in bands like Crawlspace,...... he did gigs in other country's.... What the hell was he doing here? well, he met lowie in a bar and told him he was looking for a band. He came to one of our rehersal and never left. he is a superb guitarplayer and the glue of our band! got a problem? go to raymond! that's why sometimes we call him "papa-ray" ...that and because he's old! hehe...
So the band was formed, we started writing songs and had a lot of fun.. but after a year or so marnic told us he wanted to quit the band.. so we needed a replacement! our mate Jochen (natan,absythium) helped us out for some time until we found Jeroen, this guy couldn't play the bass but man could he sing! The guy has energie and agression and with him the band found a frontman many would be jealous of!since Jeroen is in the band everything went verry fast, the band keeps growing and we get better gig's and comments every time, a cd wil be recorded soon and merch is on his way!
