D.J B-Sting started out as a jungle M.C back around 1994 and continued MC'ing through to 1997, as the music scene started to change, D.J B-Sting moved into garage MC’ing. D.J B-Sting's father (the humble bumble) was a major collector of music and his collection goes back more than 25 years (so D.J B-Sting grew up with lovers rock, Soul, Motown, Rare groove, Reggae, Ragga, Soca, the list is endless), and in time D.J B-Sting began to follow in his footsteps. The humble bumble bought some of his favourite tunes here and there and as D.J B-Sting collection began to grow he thought more about a career DJ’ing. D.J B-Sting decided to give it a try, and bought kam belt drives to start him off and began mixing at home. In time the hobby turned into a dream. As time went on B-Sting developed a deep passion for the art of mixing, buying garage, R&B, hip hop and jungle along the way. After playing at a number of parties, people began to encourage him to think about playing in nightclubs. After a massive push from his mum (queen b) and a few close mates, he made the bold step from playing at parties to playing on internet radio. He started his career at the biggest and the best internet radio station (IN THE WORLD) WWW.UKRUMBLE.COM in June 2002. Since, playing on WWW.UKRUMBLE.COM, with the help & support of the management ALX,CESCA & SKINZ he built up a substantial fan base worldwide, with a number of loyal listeners week in week out. Due to the diverse range of music B-Sting's plays, he appeals to broad range of individuals. In March 2002 B-Sting landed his first gig. It was on a Friday @ the Award Winning Eros nightclub in Enfield, London. Within 2 weeks he became a resident doing warm up sets for many big names such as EZ, RAMSEY and FENN, Martin "liberty" Larner, Masterstepz, Mr Jones ,Milan and Lady Spirit. As his popularity began to grow he started to get more sets at well established clubs like Vivid and Elite nightclub in Romford, Essex (Uk). He played 3hr R&B set and 3 weeks later did a 5hr garage, R&B and jungle set. As things were moving at such a rapid rate he was booked to do his first under 18 rave, by Ice Promotions UK. It was called the "End of Term Summer Bash" @ Eros in Enfield on 30th July 2002. Many big names was on line up including Pay As U Go Krew and Milan. A week later at B-Sting's residency in Eros, London, I was pushed forward to do the prime time slot, which I took with open hands. This went down well and this time it was with the older crowd. My residency at Eros lasted 6 months and shortly after I did a set for a night called “Up Close and Personal” with Masterstepz in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire (U.k). Just as 2003 began B-Sting was interviewed for a music magazine called versatile links, which he said was "it was nice to be involved in, i could believed i was getting interviewed felt like a big name dj". On valentines weekend he played at a night called "The Valentines Ball" @ townhouse in Enfield, London, run by Ice Promotion UK. This was an under 18 rave and Elliot Ness was also on the line up. I returned to Eros in March 2003 as a resident DJ, but this time on a Saturday night playing old skool and garage. In the summer of that year, he began a residency @ Charlie Chan's nightclub in Walthamstow London (U.k) and was playing there every Friday. D.J B-Sting was on the same line up of EZ, TODD EDWARDS, NORRIS THE BOSS WINDROSS, STREETBOY, DINO, KARL "TUFF ENUFF" BROWN, MJ COLE the list just roles on. In July of 2005 D.J B-Sting is back on the airwaves, after he landed a set on the internet station PHATBEATS.NET playing the very best of Garage, R 'N' B Old Skool Jungle and Funky House, on a Thursday from 6-8pm B-Stings mixing technic with tune selection followed with a big personalty shone on phatbeats and gathered a large following and the movement was growing very soon after Eros asked Dj B-Sting to come back for his 3rd resdency @ FORBIDDEN and took them up on it. He played with the likes of MAT JAM LAMONT , DJ SWERVE KISS 100 FM, MASTERSTEPZ CHOICE FM AND STICKY AND DR PSYCO In mid 2006 Dj B sting decided it was time to recharge the batteries In 2007 Dj B Sting was recharged and came back with even a bigger sting As soon as B- Sting said he was back the love came flooding back doing sets on www.ukflow.tv and phatbeats.net and found playin out @ SEXE.10 @ Bar E.10 playing funky house garage rnb bashment and jungle D.J B-Sting would like to thank the queen b and the humble bumble, Marc Mac (Natalie and Sharon (Ice Promotions UK and Eros) Without this deadly duo i wouldn't be where i am today and i thank you for the break you both gave me.
