It was said he had the eyes of a saint and the blessings of many a bush-hippie. He grew amongst the trees in a Queensland style house made out of Pine and stringybark wood. He made friends with the local rednecks who would set their dogs onto him at any possible moment so he would 'Bugger off my pineapple patch!!' He grew to have a fine appreciation for his parents musical abilities on the Banjo, button accordian, saw and bush bass. Not to mention 13 part harmonies and yodelling... he knew from a very young age he wanted to be a gypsey musician! Travelling the world and meeting all the strangers with strange sounds from far away, beyond seas and centuries of evolution........................Jesse Witney é cantor, violonista, arranjador e compositor natural de Gympie, Austrália. Ele nasceu dentro uma família musical, e começou aprendendo instrumentos desde cedo. Interessou-se pelo violão com a idade de 15 anos. Depois do segundo grau, se mudou para a cidade de Lismore no estado de New South Wales, para estudar violão na Universidade de Southern Cross. Após um ano na universidade ele decidiu que seria bom explorar outras culturas e estilos musicais. Começou viajando por vários lugares pela Europa. Ficou no Brasil para absorver os vários ritmos e estilos de música que sao apenas disponivies la.
