Got into DnB in early 2006 after hearing some mixtapes from Pangea residents Professa Fresh and Special Ed. After that I've just been cainin it constantly, clubbing as often as possible, think im addicted to it. Listen to it all day everyday. I started mixing in september 2006 when I went to Stirling uni, bought my numark tt1625 decks and my crappy DM950 mixer with my student loan.
After mixing for 2 months and playing a few parties I was asked to do a Drum and Bass night at the uni and after meeting the Essex badman that is my mate Nik (DJ Gorbo) we formed Stirlings first regular Drum and Bass night, Dilate. We took on the MC AC as our resident MC in early 2007 and moved to one of Stirlings trendiest joints Oboeru where we've been making some serious waves on the scene
Also got into the Pangea nation-wide amateur DJ competition finals in February 2007 and won 200 bucks worth of record vouchers and a headline slot at a Pangea back in July after mixing for only 5 months or so.
At Dilate we aim to provide a different sort of DnB night bringing you some of scotlands biggest DnB DJs whilst giving talented yet largely unrecognised DJs a chance on the decks. At the same time we like to spice it up a bit with lots of variety, making Dilate one of the freshest and exciting nights in the Scottish scene. Keep em peeled.
