We'd like to meet any youth under 21 who needs our help!National Runaway Statistics:One in seven kids between the ages of 10 and 18 will runaway at some point.THERE ARE BETWEEN ONE AND THREE MILLION RUNAWAY AND HOMELESS KIDS ON THE STREETS IN AMERICA.That's a huge number of kids at risk!!Out of all runaway/displaced youth, an estimated 71% could be endangered by factors such as substance dependency, use of hard drugs, sexual or physical abuse, presence in a place where criminal activity was occurring, or because of they were unprepared for the lives of those on the street. Scary stuff!A larger number of runaway/displaced youth episodes take place during summer months, a time when young people are more mobile and less constrained by social and school activities.
